Any Borderlands Players?

I got Borderlands a couple of days ago, and boy, it's so addictive! If you've never played it before, then try to imagine the thrill of loot-based RPGs such as the Diablo or Baldur's Gate series contained within a modern FPS engine. In fact, the controls are so similar to the CoD series that it feels almost like a zany spin-off.

I have it on the Xbox 360, and I'm planning on buying a month's Live to play this baby with some friends. Anyone with a Gamertag...

First of all: No no, I'm not new, but usually just a lurker. It's been years since I actually posted anything.

Anyhow, the reason I'm posting now is because of fanfiction... Oh horror! I've been tossing around the idea of actually attempting to make a novelization of each game. So, I've been reading the scripts and replaying the games, paying extra close attention to the story, dialogue and characterization. Unfortunately, blood omen 2 stands out like a sore...

Seems to me CD/Edios(whoever's making the decisions) is missing out on a prospective source of income.

One of the big things in the gaming industry these days is releasing downloadable content. All three current gen systems support it. And several of these downloadable games are infact repackaged games from back in the day.

Sometimes here in the UK we never get to see US TV, our channels do not always pick them up and sometimes its when you guys are four seasons in already. :P

Do you think they will go on creating unique titles like 'Defiance' or do you think we'd be seeing a 3rd Reaver or Omen game? I can't really think of a unique word like defiance, but something that played on the original ones (like "Blood Reaver", the name of Kain's sword, or perhaps "Soul Omen"...). Something like "Reavers" might make sense since it's the two incarnations. Certainly something like "Two Swords" is taken by the...

So, I plan on buying a new car. Not just any car, but my dream car. It's a bit expensive, but I can afford it. LoK Writing Dilemmas

Just some (non-sexual) thoughts about the guardian. Not in any real order. Open to discussion.

People say Mortie didn't see that far ahead with his plan and just kind of popped the Heart of Darkness in there like a pop tart in the toaster and then died hoping for the best. A concept of LOK is that time stands still in the Spectral Realm. However, in practice, we see this is not the case. Let's take the Silenced Cathedral puzzle, for instance. This is where the benefits of time stopping become evident, as the puzzle involves you activating a switch then switching to Spectral, so the door doesn't have a chance to close.

However, if time is really stagnant, the door would never open. It would still be closed, as a movement of any object...
