1) raziel's awakening: when raziel comes out of the elder god's abode, he is in close proximity to the sanctuary of the clans [ie the pillars]. but i think he's just a little south of them. this makes me think that he awakens somewhere in the great south lake
2)the abyss: the lake of the dead. this is said in the SR1 booklet too, so not much of a revelation
3) raziel/melchiah's clan territories: in the game these are in very close proximity. to reach melchiah you go west and a little bit north. the amount of deprivation in the land also led to my conclusion that melchiah's brood have taken up residence in nuptraptor's retreat. i assume raziel's clan territory is possibly in the mountains near the lake of the dead.
4) zephon's clan territory: this caused me the greatest amount of confusion. i heard that it was meant to be at dark eden, and i'm not sure if the cinematic said this. but this doesn't seem right. dark eden is too far north. going to zephon, you travel to the east and a little north. also, the constant reference to his home as the 'silenced cathedral' leads me to think that this is probably what became of avernus
5) rahab's clan territory: ok, so you go to the sanctuary of the clans and travel west, coming to the sarafan tomb. you go underground and come out in a watery area. so i think rahab could be swimming around in the lake of tears
6)dumah's clan territory: you go dead north, and end up in a snowy fortress, not far from the oracle's cave. it has to be malek's bastion. the ferocity of the sarafan towards dumah would also lead me to believe that some grudge exists between them
7)the human city: is northwest of the pillars. it's walled and full of guards. remember the walled city in BO1? i can't remember if it was called wasserbunde or steinchenchroe. i'd say this is it
and this isn't really to do with SR1 but it's something i realised in the mean time. was it said in defiance? i can't remember -
also, how possible do you think it is that in the SR2 paradox, william became the sarafan lord? i just got thinking, in BO2 there doesn't seem to have been any anti-vampire crusade led by moebius after the slaughter of a boy king. maybe kain never faced william before the pillars fell. william was possesed by the hylden lord and over the years gave into him. as a hylden he begins his own personal crusade against the race that banished him
