I may be wrong since it's been a long time since I've played Blood Omen 1 but I believe that when Kain killed Mobieus it was after he came back to the present. If I'm remembering correctly, Kain had gone back in time with the Time Streaming Device to prevent William the Just (I may have that name wrong) from becoming the Nemesis. After killing him and returning to the present, history had been altered and the vampire hunts had been brought about because of Kain's actions....hence the scene where Voridor is beheaded. At that point Kain is the last vampire (as Mobieus stated during that sequence). I can't remember the entire scene after Kain defeats Mobieus but I don't recall there being any further changes to history after that so I think Voridor should in fact be dead. I was a bit confused when I saw him in Blood Omen 2 as well. Now, in Soul Reaver 1, Raziel's account of Kain's rise to power indicated that after Kain refused to sacrifice himself to the pillar of balance he then created his army of vampires and began his conquest of Nosgoth but there is never any mention of Voridor being involved in this in any way. So I'm not quite making the connection on how Voridor is still alive in Blood Omen 2 yet.

But that's not the only thing that I'm curious about. In Blood Omen 1 I believe the capital of Nosgoth was Willendorf....but in Blood Omen 2 it is Meridian (unless I'm understanding that wrong). Perhaps the changing capital city is just something that happened over time since there is a 400 year gap there but I'm curious as to whether something happened to Willendorf or if they just made up this new captial city without thinking about it.

Keep in mind though that I have yet to play Sould Reaver 2 so I may be missing out on some on something. I should be getting it Monday though
