I want to know how raziel became a soul eater b/c when he was tossed into the abyss he didnt evolve or anything so was he able to eat souls as vampire raziel? and i know that the elder god didnt raise raziel so how does he alone have the ability to go in between dimentions to keep from dieng b/c if all evolved vampires could do this then they really couldnt die now could they?

Supposedly the Elder God made him that way, but it's probably lying. It's likely that Raz would have become a soul-eater anyway, just like all the rest of the vampire wraiths in the spectral realm. How he became able to shift between the realms is not really known. The EG would no doubt take credit for it, but I think it's more probable that the answer has something to do with the clan leaders' ability to momentarily shift into spectral, as stated on page 17 of the SR booklet (American PSX version).

When a vampire dies, it's soul becomes a wraith (like those hooded guys, and Dumah). And vampire wraiths eat souls. Raziel is a wraith.

maybe the right question is how come raziel is capable of jumping from spectral to physical without suffering the limits his brothers had? You have to remember raziel is imperfect amy herself called him a snob of a guy. Chances are he is wrong in some of his observations in sr2 and there maybe truth in some of the things EG says to him. Remember the there are FATES worse than death speech, possible reverence to the the wheel of fate EG makes another threat to raziel that his destiny could change abruptly and we see raziel's fate changed possibly because he was disobeying the elder god in the first place.
Another good question is what's the connection between the wheel of fate and time streaming?

Call me crazy but I still think eg had a part in raziels "unique resurrection" he is considered by vorador as not human and more demon than vampire.

The fact that Raz is totally dead and his brothers weren't might have something to do with it. Of course he's a flawed character, but why would that have any bearing on his abilities? His shortcomings are some of the reasons why he's so dangerous and why Kain can't tell him everything he's planning, just try to steer him in the 'right' direction by dangling the right bait.

Because Raziel's limitations are not fully known to us
and the origin of his rebirth is kind of up in the air since sr2 His very essence is questionable.
One thing we do know is that raz's form is a sort of representation of raz. For example he looks demonic because he feels demonic. If we put raziel in the time of the ancients he may grow bird wings and look like an ancient.(and fly)
Raziel thinks he found answers in sr2 what he thinks can be miss understood as fact and not observation. by the end of the game he thinks eg has had nothing to do with raziel's new wraith form. and we the audience have to assume he is right.

A: Do you mean was Raziel correct in his accusations in his final confrontation with the Elder God?
When people hear the dialogue, it's important to remember that just because a character says something, it isn't necessarily correct. What you're hearing is that character's opinion and subjective interpretation.
So if you mean: "did Raziel just drop into the EG's lap by coincidence, or did the EG have something to do with his resurrection?" Let's just say Raziel doesn't know everything yet, and neither do we.

Because Raziel may be right or wrong, we can only guess, and be reasonable, assuming nothing.

I like to think that nobody is really lying, but that the truth is manipulated in strange ways. Raziel is fairly arrogant, so it's kind of fun when he thinks he's got it all figured out, and then something comes at him that he didn't even remotely think of. That's why he makes such a good pawn, 'cuz he's dumb. Come to think of it, none of the other liutenents seemed too bright either... Kain raised a bunch of stupid Sarafan to be his lap-dogs. Maybe there is still some hope for Turel.

No I don't think anyone can think of everything (but it doesn't stop me trying!) least of all Raziel. I think rather than being dumb, nieve or arrogant he is just focused, he is, in fact, blinded by his focus. Like Kain looking for his murderers, Raziel simply wants revenge, against Kain, his brothers, the Sarefen, the humans, himself (!) maybe in SR3 he will get over his petty emotions and sort out the root cause of his problems...whatever they may be!

Mmm, Raziel is focused to reach a goal. Yet if you will stop at nothing to get to that goal, anything else is irrelevant, so I don't think he is blinded, I just reckoned it doesn't concern him, and he cares very little of it.

Also, I thought he kinda let go of his vendetta, and begun searching for the truth. (But unlike Kain he searched for the truth by his own means, lol stupid Kain, did he really think his revenge laid in killing the circle lol

Raziel isn't really dumb; but he does have blinders on that keep him from seeing what's going on. I was just trying to be funny (my sense of humor obviously takes a dive for the worse at 4 am).

It's also kind of difficult for Raz to put together an accurate picture of the situation when he can't trust the information he's being given and, on top of that, is being attacked every minute or so.

well it's plain in our face that raz was reborn via EG it even says that in the SR2 timeline Raz was revived by EG. What I've begun to think about is if raz has some sort of connection to the ancient vamps it must be that eg created them both as well as the hylden, the EG statue under the pillars looks like something the ancient vampires built and I assume that eg for some reason felt that the vampires needed to be destroyed and created the hylden to do this, and the vampires bound eg to the pillars and killed 2 birds with one stone via the hylden banishment.

CD/Eidos would word it that way in the timeline because they don't want to give anything away. If you listen to the actual game dialogue it's not at all certain that the EG was in fact responsible.
