I'm not sure if this only happens on the Xbox version, but sometimes the background noise grows so loud you cannot hear what is being said at the time. The worst area for this is in the Sarafan stronghold when Kain talks to the woman who won't open a door unless Kain kills a noble. Sometimes all I can hear is the burning torches. Does anyone else have this issue?

No, it definately is not only on the Xbox. I have the PS2 version, and I had the same problem. In the Sarafan Keep with the woman who has to open the gate, and a few other places too. It was agravating.

Same problem here. I think its because they rushed to finish the game and didnt take the time to clean it up. BO2 is full of glitches but its still a good game

The reason why that happens is not because of the backround music, it's actually because sometimes Kain tends to whisper when speaking. For example, In the event in the Sarafan keep where the lady won't let you through until you kill a noble, both Kain and the lady were whispering.

I hear that too... I have no idea from where it was coming from... But it sure the hell is annoying!

I have the PC version, and I have trouble with the sound too. I find myself leaning towards the screen struggling to hear what they say...of course I eventually realize I look like an idiot and it does nothing to help.
