Never heard of milk tea. Is that some Chinese thing that hasn't made it's way here yet?

Well, I know they have it in Annapolis because I remember there being a group of people when I went to St. John's who inexplicably hated it, so it's
definitely in America in some form. You may have heard of it as "bubble tea". It's that. Good stuff.

well, I usually use http://btjunkie.org/ they have pretty extensive set of resources. and I usually googled those i
couldn't find there. and torrents are generally safe, because bad torrents don't get seeded.

Just make sure to virus scan anything you download and you should be fine.
You know what's annoying? Trains. Wen, being foreign, has to sign on to the government's biometric database, because they are targeting the people who don't know enough to be against it first. Then they'll move onto the non-old and non-foreign people. Anyway, to do this she needs to go to one of a selection of places for an appointment. None of those places are near here, so we need to book a train. Last night I was booking train tickets, but kept getting the message that my booking could not be made. I then get into work this morning (10 hours later), and do the same thing. This time I manage to book the tickets, but I had to choose different trains because the price on the morning train I wanted doubled overnight. Literally. So, I had to end up spending slightly more money than I wanted to, and get a different train than I wanted to, because the fucking train company refused to sell me the tickets they were advertising.

Yeah, they fluctuate prices all the time based on some supposed demand estimates and proximity of the order date to the actual trip. A few times, when looking
for a flight, I refreshed the page within a half hour and many airline prices went up $100 or more. Guess it blows the same with rr. Booking as far ahead as
possible seems to work best.

You think that's bad? In China they only make train tickets available a few days before the train actually leaves. Obviously, that results in a mad
scramble to buy tickets no matter what the trip is or when it is. It's because the government officials want to be able to siphon off the best seats to all
their friends before the tickets are available to the general public. Douchebags.

A biometric what now? Geeez.
And yeah, the trains are pretty crappy. The prices fluctuate but if you catch it at the right time you can get some good deals. Where is your GF from? |
