honestly there is no telling it was amy who wrote it. the writing was collaborative. I think the line fits, it is decent open ending line because now kain
actually knows who his true enemy is.The problem to me is how climactic it was to have kain actually fight the elder god yet it ends in a stalemate. i would
have preferred that the elder god successfully buries them. in a sequel have kain fight his way out of it and woops somehow finds himself in the spectral
realm...btw anybody play god of war 2 see that hydra and cry a little inside?

I´d love to play this game... I´m already writing letters to Crystal Dynamics and beg for the release of it☺☺☺☺ For me it is a coarse insolence of Eidos
cancelling the game. As the pictures show, they were pretty far in developing (for 3 months). If eidos isn´t ready to release it there are many others who
would I guess. So I don´t understand the problem.

The Tomb Raider Anniversary magazine article from January 2007 was published about three years after "The Dark Prophecy" was cancelled - so please don't ask them to waste their time and go back to the same project with the same cliche name. They've probably got even better ideas now. Encouragement for a *new* Legacy of Kain game would be energy better spent. |

Continuing on the theme of what BO2 did well, I think the whole Steampunk edge that it had was kinda cool. It also fitted quite well chronologically with the decaying industrial elements of SR (like the Turelim lighthouse, human citadel and Melchiah's haunt). A good next LofK game would nab some of the fun enemy interaction from BO2 but put it with a more fluid SR combat system. Also all that impaling in SR1 was just too much fun. A think a new character would be interesting to play as - maybe Vorador, Janos or even the Seer (weak though her lore is). I'd even be happy with a human, as long as they could narratively justify them being a bit of a %+!%% compared to Hyden and Vampires. |

What about playing as one of the human guardians? I think Mortaneous during the human insurrection would be a good character to play as. We get some more
backstory, and Mort would be an interesting choice in terms of abilities. Vorador is an obvious choice because he's badass and of course would add to the
backstory. Teneya once mentioned that one of the guys involved in the first Blood Omen intended to make a prequel with Vorador as the lead, but the details
elude me.
I doubt that if Eidos works on another LoK, I don't think they would use whatever they developed for Dark Prophecy (except maybe plot points). That's the real meat, screw the models and landscapes, I want to know about the cast, the twists and turns, the climax, something! |
