Just because Eidos canceled this particular sequel doesn't mean they won't make one at all. They canceled Core's TR Anniversary project and had Crystal Dynamics make their own from scratch, for example.

If there is one, I doubt I'll be impressed by it given the fact that people can't seem to make games with any substance beyond the pretty graphics these days. STORY? WAT? Eidos know what is the value of LofK franchise, but right now they have other plans.......................lets hope that after TRU, we will receive our answer.And if our answer is good LofK6 is already in production.

If they do decide to make one, they would reveal its existence through the gaming media, not me. Er, unless it was some sort of awesome Grand Theft Auto/Jet Set Radio hybrid set in Nosgoth. Then I'm sure they'd let me announce it.

From how you describe you've played MGS4 from YOUTUBE, or reading to many fanboy blogs.And when I mentioned MGS4, it was just an example, you said that today are no more good story telling games (se Bioshock, Heavenly,Assassins.........and so on). Off course neither of this game compares with LofK story, but if you go back to 1995 when BO1 was released, it was one of the best looking graphics at that time, SR1 in 1999 did the same, at the end of ps1 era.What I'm saying is that not the number of ploys and shaders makes a game.A game has to have a soul in order to be a good game, and if the graphics are the body the storry is the soul, and a body without the soul doesn't live. I will better not have a LofK6 with MGS4 graphics, and a poor story, if you know what I mean. Also as I sed this before in other post, I will love to see LofK6 with a level of TRU graphics, but they have to create a solid story and and gameplay first.To me graphics are like salt and peeper in food. Wold you want to play a 2009 game with a 95 graphics? And don't try to be hypocrite.

This also means that possibly for whatever reason,(and that reason, Elder Kain may know)as to why all of Nosgoth's vampires de-evovled(or evolved but groutesqly) during Raziels time in the Lake Of Dead(due to Elder Kain casting Raz in), may have different circumstances and events, due to that the time period between the end of BO2 and the beggening(or beggenings)of SR1 are essentially being shapped by BO2 Kain. Though that may be moot, if Elder Kain really does have all of the memories of BO2 Kain's(and perhaps later in time, slightly differed Elder Kain)existence, provivded there isn't some history altering event that will give, or change memories, though sense Elder(Defiance)Kain seems to symbiotically know the memories(due to still unknown or un-disclosed reason of receivment if memories)of any altered Kain, produced through history altering, all other possible Kain variations will act upon what ever occurences Elder Defiance Kain brings about. Some of the screen shots fom the cancelled LOK game, suggest a plot involving some un-disclosed location that may scructurally indicated a joint Hylden/Vampire Citadel, which I like to theorize that this is what the Lost City from BO1 was/is. Amybody else think that the facial statue structures resemble The Seer's ?

Kain does know, but the changes outside of the BO2 events weren't significant. As it should be, with time making as few alterations as possible. For instance Raziel didn't receive any new memories whatsoever and Kain didn't find anything worth noting about the empire days either. all other possible Kain variations will act upon what ever occurences Elder Defiance Kain brings about. I really don't doubt that another LoK will be made, when I really think about it. The question is whether it'll be one that I'll be willing to count as part of the series. The pillars are dead, land is corrupting, Kain builds the empire, throws Raziel in when he begins to devolve, lieutenants degenerate over time, Raziel gets their souls and follows Kain into the Chronoplast. First were not even sure, whether Raz can receive new memories, secondly Raz ends up in the Reaver, anyways, so we can't be exactly sure if he ever does, kind of difficult for him to communicate such when he's a non-corpeal entity sealed in a physical weapon. He did live through those events - there is only ever one timeline. When the timeline is altered, the past is altered. Kain altered his past, he lived through those events. It is, at the point after the end of SR2, much more accurate to say that Kain has the non-BO2 memories despite not living through the non-BO2 events, rather than the other way around. First were not even sure, whether Raz can receive new memories, If Raz's past was directly altered, his memories would change, because his past would have changed. Though, saying that, Raz might also have to be the one to actually cause the change in the first place (but, hey, he's the Reaver, so he would have to anyway) The fan compiled Legacy of Kain Timeline Quite possibly the best advice you will ever be given: RTFM
